Joy & Lorraine had the pleasure of chatting with Denise Evans, author of Zen In High Heels.
If enlightenment seems unattainable in the reality of your already complicated, jam-packed life, Zen in High Heels will ignite in you the confidence to get started today! Any gnawing of discontent is your truth knocking on the door of your consciousness, looking to be expressed.
Zen in High Heels dispels the assertion that commitment to higher consciousness and spirituality requires one to leave behind material, or what we consider pleasurable aspects of today's lifestyle. EVOLVED and FABULOUS are not mutually exclusive.
Denise K. Evans presents ancient wisdom blended with current self-help ideations in a way that feels accessible in the 21st Century. She lays out the principles in such a way for you to create a bridge between where you life is today and where you want it to be.
She inspires us to get out of survival mode, and find our way to a more satisfying life.
Evans had all the trappings of the American dream: the education, financial success, material abundance, but remained unfulfilled. She knew there had to be MORE to life. She went from longing for inner peace, to finding it, and has a passion to share how she finally got the barrage of spiritual and personal growth information to make sense and stick in her own life!
She reminds us always to come back to ourselves for the answers that we seek. Her book Zen in High Heels serves as a practical guide, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey, to keep seeking and finding growth and inner peace!
